traceability is important to us. if we can’t prove it, we don’t sell it!
1. 100% organic cotton top-sheets
How do we know its 100% organic cotton? Pinkie diligently traces each bale of cotton to farms in Georgia and Texas through the cotton exporters in Tennessee. These verified bales are sent to our factory in Guangdong City, China. Our factory is certified by the Global Organic Textile Standard (GOTS) to ensure that the cotton used in our pads meets the highest international orgnaic standards.
Our organic cotton is pesticide-free, chemical-free, fragrance-free, hypoallergenic, biodegradable and does not use any forced labor or unethical farming methods.
2.How Pinkie pads are made
Our 100% organic cotton travels via sea to China and is received by our trusted manufacturing partner in Guangdong City, China. Our factory is a leader in manufacturing high-quality cotton sustainable period products and is FDA and Global Organic Textile Standard (GOTS) certified. In addition, we work with a third party compliance company, SGS Inspection Services, to ensure quality control of our products.
Pinkie's pads are FDA certified, GOTS certified, ISO Standard QMS 9001 certified, INTERTEK inspected.
3. Our patent-pending slip-out baggies
We believe opening a pad should not be louder than opening a bag of chips. And forget about those stretchy, clingy plastic wrappers! That's why we invented a soft, slip-out baggie for each pad: no ripping or tearing of any kind! The pad slides in and out for easy use and disposal. You do not have to wrap your used pad in bundles of toilet paper anymore! Just place used pad inside the baggie and pull the drawstring close and dispose! Super easy! Our slip-out baggie is so good that we applied for a patent on it! Completely hassle-free! We put our colored stripes on each pouch so you always know what size you have in your bag!
4. Pinkie packaging and fulfillment
We are committed to an eco-friendly and sustainable process.
Here at Pinkie, we are very thoughtful about our packaging. Our striped boxes are specifically designed to make them easy to spot on store shelves, no matter who is buying them — people with periods or those without!
Our packaging is made by an awesome family-owned printer based in Dallas, Texas. The boxes are then shipped to our fulfillment center in Mechanicsburg, Pennsylvania where they are hand-assembled by a team that is FDA certified to handle period products and other medical grade products.
When you order on our website, a dedicated fulfillment team handpicks your items, boxes them and sends them to you from a leading-edge logistics system – all products are shipped within 24 hours!
All of our materials are recyclable – so please do us a favor and stick the boxes in the recycling bin after use!
