Great organic tampons! The applicator is plastic, petite, and easy to use. They work well and open to the sides, not 360 degrees. The box is half regular, half super, so it's good for someone who has both regular and heavy flow throughout their cycle. They absorb well for regular flow; I wear a panty liner just in case, but haven't had any issues with leaking or overflow. Great for teens
We’ve been searching for a better fit tampon for our teens. Pinky has a great amazing organic cotton tampon provided in both regular and super. PBA free nice plastic applicator no fragrance or die is included. We were really looking for an alternative for our teens while they are learning to navigate their period. Comfortable Tampons, clean ingredients, easy application, excellent leak protection
These Pinkie organic cotton tampons have honestly been a pleasant surprise. I wanted to try something with cleaner ingredients after dealing with irritation from some of the more well-known conventional brands, and I also loved the backstory behind this company, which was founded by moms who couldn't find products that worked well for their daughters. That really resonated with me, and I'm happy to say the product itself actually lives up to the mission behind it.Comfort is where these really shine. The applicator is slim and smooth, and the textured grip on it actually helps with placement rather than just being a design detail that does nothing. Once placed, I genuinely can't feel it, which is exactly what you want. I've used both the regular and super absorbencies from this box, and the organic cotton core holds up really well. Even after hours of wear when they've fully absorbed and expanded, there's none of that uncomfortable, almost heavy feeling I've gotten used to with other mainstream tampons. That was a big difference for me. I typically changed mine around the four to six hour mark and had zero leaks with either size, so the protection has been solid and dependable.The stay-dry string is a small detail that actually makes a noticeable difference in keeping things fresh and comfortable throughout the day. I also appreciate that everything is free of rayon, chlorine, dyes, and fragrance, because I had zero irritation the entire time I used these, which hasn't always been my experience with conventional options.Side bonus: these also work great for the occasional bloody nose, which I tend to get more often with weather changes or when the air is extra dry. I keep a couple in my car now so I always have one on hand whether it's for my period or a surprise nosebleed.Having both regular and super in one box is really convenient too, so I'm not juggling separate packages depending on where I am in my cycle.Overall, these are comfortable, reliable, and genuinely feel like a cleaner option. And I love having the box with both Regular and Super and honestly it’s such a great price compared to many of what you see these days at the store for the same quantity. I started buying organic tampons a long time ago, when I overhauled everything I put in/on/near my body to be friendlier to my body and the environment. I ordered these because my preferred brand changed something about their manufacturing and they are no longer as comfortable, so I'm looking for an alternative.I love that these come in a pack with two absorbencies, because I never need just one absorbency for the whole cycle. You can see that the super are slightly wider than the regular, but the are still very slim for easy insertion. They are well-wrapped and the wrappers don't tear open even when tossed into a tote bag. The applicators are smooth and the plunger doesn't stick or fall out, which is an issue with a few organic brands I've tried.These have no odor and of course no added fragrance. I can't stress enough how active I am with a physical labor job and athletic lifestyle, and I haven't had any leaking.Here's why I removed a star, and I am fully aware that body anatomy has a lot to do with this: when in contact with liquid, these expand more so lengthwise than width-wise, which I begin to feel. Is it painful, no, but it is not comfortable. This is the reason why I was trying to switch brands; my old favorite used to have the width-wise expansion but the company changed how they are made and they now get longer. This doesn't make these unusable to me, but it does limit my use to when I'm not really doing anything active (movement is when I can feel it), so basically, overnight.If you are looking for an organic brand that has a smooth applicator that works well, these are absolutely worth a try.
